Lily and Hugo’s is first and foremost, a bookstore for kids.
Designed to cater for kids throughout all stages of learning development, Lily and Hugo’s will range a diverse collection of books, engaging with common trends while also highlighting and celebrating local Australian authors and illustrators.
Our mission is to spread the joy and importance of reading to and with our children. Exposing children to reading at a young age is proven to benefit them throughout their developmental years and the team at Lily and Hugo’s want to be part of that journey for families.
Our Bookstore Vision
Weekday Story Time
We will have a 30 minute morning story time available every day Monday - Friday for kids and their supervising adult.
Session times will be confirmed closer to opening.
End Of The Day Crafts
While the crafting table will be open for use all day, specific craft activities will be available for 1 hour from 3:30PM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday.
Monthly Competitions
Whether it's colouring, book reviewing or storytelling, there will be a competition every single month of the year giving kids the opportunity to win fantastic prizes!

Book Launches
Supporting local, Australian authors and illustrators is so important. We want Lily and Hugo's to be a space that celebrates creativity and passion for storytelling.
